Howdy, remember me? Jettaman? Justin? It's been a while since I've seen all of ya or posted, but y'know, having a son takes up a lot of time.

I am doing a new thing now--making educational rock music and the local news came out and did a story on me.

Wow Justin, that's really cool! Great idea to put out a CD. It's nice and refreshing to see a teacher caring so much for the students nowadays. Of course, I think a lot of us already knew how you like to inspire them :-) It really is awesome.

Yeah, remember when I taught my kids how to write business letters and then I had them write business letters to Howie and you delivered them to him? I had to make up his address for the "inside address" and just for shits and giggles I told them his address was 420 Madrigals Lane. A few months after he got them and I saw him at a show he actually remembered and said "Oh yeah! 420 madrigals lane! Nice address!"

A highlight of my career as a teacher.

Thanks for that story Justin. I laughed out loud. I couldn't have my high school students write to 420 anything.

that's so rad!! it's weird how effective music is at teaching--i had a couple of teachers use music that way (although they weren't savvy enough to use popular songs, just old ones like "When the Saint's Go Marching In" and stuff) and I still remember it to this day...totally awesome, Justin...
