I spoke w/ Howie a few weeks ago, and the new cd is coming along very well. He seems really proud of this work, and is close to finishing it. He was headed to
NY to work on final vocals, they should be in mixdown right about now. From the songs I heard, it is a continued move to a different sound, but I think it will
sound amazing once fully produced.

Can't wait for the Melbourne show. I also can't believe I'm seeing Howie twice in one year! Wonder why he's coming back over again, he must of
loved it down here last time....
Does Howie usually come out and have a beer after the show? Because i left sorta straight after his last Melbourne show and didn't get the opportunity to say g'day and grab a photo. Might stick around this time. |

Hey Stevo Definately stick around....at the end of the show last night they announced that he would catch up with fans in the area where they were selling the
cds. I wanted to stay but couldn't....plus it didn't look as if there was a massive crowd waiting for him. The show was freaking awesome by the way.
Howie was cracking really lame jokes on stage and saying how he could release one of those relaxation cds (cue bird noises). He seemed alot more comfortable
this time around as well. He played a new song too....it wasn't 'the longest night' but a completely new one I haven't heard before. It was
slow and really beautiful. I think I got a tear..lol They were filming the show last night as well....the camera guy said we could see it on the moshtix site
but I can't for the life of me find it.... have fun!!

he definitely did a bit of recording at q division... and for awhile. some friends of mine were working there and chatting about it. i was hoping the album
would make it to the mastering studio i worked at for awhile (m works- they did a few projects for him), but no such luck. hope the launch goes well for him,
should be really interesting stuff to hear.
