Ok so I asked about a copy of the concert and someone was kind enough to put a link to a site that had the concert for download. They have tons of other bands like oar and guster that I can download too, but does ANYONE know ANY other sites like this www.archive.org ?? I would be in your debt

I haven't seen any posts about this yet...but how many people thought Alice Peacock's guitarist bore an uncanny resemblance to John Lennon?

i personally was sick of hearing people scream "JOHN LENON" over and over and over throughout the performance.
he looked like him, but thats about all anyone noticed....he was great at performing.  im now counting down days to the blu sanders/ari hest concert....howie creates hunger for more -- anyone agree? Kelly

i totally agree!!!!
and the john lennon thing. it was funny at first.. but i think after like 17 times of people yelling it..... got kinda old.... he did play a mean guitar though.....  i am up again against the skin of my guitar in the window of my life AniSiren I LOVE RANDOM IM'S |

Hey no doubt the hour howie DID play was amazing, but whats the deal with his manager coming out to talk to him and interupting and stuff. Howie should have been able to play longer, WE all know who the crowd was there to see, and i think HOWIE knew it too, at least the yelling throughout the entire show was suppose to let him know.....anyways, why didnt he come back on for an oncore, everybody was going crazy and we alll just saw his manager do the whole slicing hand across the neck motion to the soundboard guys.......I think everybody was let down....another thing, why didnt he come out and sign some autographs and take some pictures like he usually does, right after the show in milwaukee we got autographs and awesome pics, but we rushed over to his booth after his set, and NO HOWIE!!!!!!!! i was def. dissapointed about that. Amazing show no matter what though.

well, his set time and whatnot were not the result of his decision or vance's - he was opening for PMB, and out of respect for them, he did the set time he was supposed to - as far as i know, alice went on a little too long, and 3 minute mile was a last minute addition, so everyone's timing was thrown off. most of the people were there for howie, that's true, and he would have been great as a headliner, but i think that even if they had offered that slot to him, he probably would have declined out of respect for PMB and their role in getting him exposure. as far as coming out after the show, it was decided before the show even began that he wouldn't be, and i spent the entire evening explaining to people that he just wasn't going to do it. fatigue, as well as not wanting to deal with a certain amount of craziness and also not wanting to take away from PMB's set were all factors. they had to get to the hotel for some sleep before taking off on the flight the next morning. as he grows in popularity, it's going to be more common for him NOT to come out and say hey than the other way around
