Yes I really enjoyed this one, he seemed to have more energy and be more into it than at the Iron Horse, (not putting that show down however, it was a great one as well). I liked his remark at the beginning about getting to walk through the kitchen when he comes on stage, gave me a good chuckle

haha, yeah, that was great. I also liked when he poked fun at some of the newer fans at the end of Ghost, when saying something along the lines of "Oh my God, he's just playing a CD and not singing!" haha.

Playing a CD and not singing. Haha. He's a sucker for making fun of the new fans. He kept referring to collide as one of his "more obscure songs" the whole tour. With that said, it's good for the new fans to hear what howie really does, finally. I've talked to a bunch of them and they all seem mad impressed (and scared when they realize how long he's actually been around).

I was commented to derek that it would have been cool if howie had just played a show from 2002. Last night was a blast from the past for sure.

Yeah, Jay was pretty good. Catherdrals is one of the only songs I was extremely familiar with, and it sounded awesome. I want to check out more of his solo stuff.

Jays solo stuff is very good. I love the album. I have had a chance to see him play full band a bunch over the last few months and I have been very impressed. His cd is very well done and everyone should get it. There are a bunch of tracks on his myspace page.
These Howie shows have been old school for sure. Def what we all have been wishing for. Wish I wrote down Jays set. I know all his songs well. How did it go? I love that he played Mexico too! -LMP |

I agree, I bought Driving Blind off iTunes after seeing Jay at the Iron Horse and it's instantly become one of my favs.
